Nicknamed "Cookieman", Shadow had a wonderful temperament (spoiled & sweet), excellent health, solid movement, a beautiful pedigree, was a proven stud...and self-appointed lapdog. Shadow was 34" tall, weighed 147 pounds, had dark eyes, full dentition, and a full mask. He was whelped on 8/4/99, and was the son of my foundation bitch International Ch. Nuttree's Sierra Snowdancer ["Sierra"] and Am/Can BIS BISS Ch. Lagarada Reach For The Starz, CGC, AOM Westminster 2002, Top 20 Winner - 2002 ["Rocket"].
HEALTH: Shadow was OFA Good, Heart Normal (Cardiologist), Eyes CERFd, Thyroid Normal (2.1), and vWD Normal (78). On February 20, 2006, Shadow passed away suddenly from kidney failure. The specialists found no existing illness or condition that caused the failure - I can only suspect that a recent dose of Frontline along with Capstar may have contributed to this unexpected tragedy. I was blessed to get 3 frozen semen breeding units the month prior to his diagnosis.
CONFORMATION: Shadow's strengths were his solid topline, nice chest, and correct rear. Both of his parent were beautiful movers in the ring - just like their son.

Breeding a litter of puppies is a tremendous responsibility that needs a well thought-out plan. Only bitches with appropriate health certificates will be considered. Health certificates for HIPS, HEART, EYES, THYROID, and vWD will need to be provided.
Breeders that I will consider for Shadow should have a knowledge of their own pedigree, a goal for their breeding program, a commitment to place puppies in appropriate homes, and a plan should any puppies return at any time from a home that cannot keep them.

Shadow had a beautiful pedigree going back to well-known danes from breeders such as Lagarada, VonShrado, Mountdania, Von Raseac, Reann, and Sheenwater.
