12 weeks
1) Puppies were filmed at 5 weeks of age (April 2006) and 5 weeks plus one day. Still photos are of pups and mom up to age 41 days.
2) At 12 weeks old, this smart fellow has figured out how to OPEN a door from the outside. See the 12-second video clip of the FIRST time he figured out how to PULL the door open to get inside. NOTE: I was INSIDE the house videotaping through the window screen, so the vid is a little blurry.

At 5 months old, Shaun has learned how to open the door from INSIDE now. It was obviously just a matter of time, and a technical change to a lever-style doorknob. It took him less than 10 seconds and only ONE TRY to get this right.

I thought this would be a FUN day at the beach, but all they wanted to do was make me stand in these funny poses. What is Mom planning??
I'm going to find a way to open this door. It's a little harder than the porch door, but I've almost got it!
Mom told me to "Clean up my act," sooooo....
Mommy told me to show Daddy what I did last weekend. He didn't believe Mommy. When she had her back turned, I snuck in the tub and ate the whole bar of soap! I thought it was pretty tasty. She now puts the soap way up high in the shower so I can't reach it. I love playing in the tub (except when there's water in it) - I can find all sorts of toys to get into!
One of Shaun's favorite games is Hide & Seek. He hides under a bed and whines out to me to find him. He gets very quiet when I'm near, and then growls and barks when I find him - being master of his domain.
